In the 1860s, shoe decorations became particularly popular. They were inspired by 18th century fashion. These shoes are white Chevreau leather shoes from America. Label: Sollers & Co. * Cincinnati. The shoes are decorated with white Chevreau leather bows. Small heel made of wood, covered with leather. 1863 shoes with such bows appeared for the first time. By 1870 they had disappeared again. Therefore these shoes can be easily dated. Good to very good condition. Minor stains and signs of age. Nothing unusual in such fragile shoes.
