A pair of ladies black silk satin, lace up ankle boots with low heels, dated 1867. Shoemaker and designer: Jean-Louis François PINET, Paris. The toe of the boots have rosettes applied in silk ribbon. The boots lace through 24 eyelets. Purple silk application on the mouth of the boots and along the eyelets. Cream cotton lining. The soles and heels are leather, punched in five locations with signature markings and size.

Very good to excellent condition. Gently worn. Replaced laces. Abrasion on the silk and silk torn in 2-3 places (see photos). The decoration is not included.
