Romantic Period boots, ca. 1830. Culture: French. The sharp square toe area and the upper area are from black satin silk. Side lacing with original (or replaced) laces, hand embroidered eyelet holes, tongue of same silk (lined in red silk), lined in white cotton/canvas, leather soles, left and right. Excellent condition. Some little wear to the soles. The decoration is not included. Very rare to find.
