Very rare leather shoes from the Rococo Era, ca. 1730. Origin: France. In France it’s the time from Louis XV. Louis XV (15 February 1710 – 10 May 1774), known as Louis the Beloved was a monarch of the House of Bourbon who ruled as King of France from 1 September 1715 until his death in 1774. He succeeded his great-grandfather Louis XIV at the age of five.
Brown leather with green silk border. Metal threat embroidery. Wooden heel, covered with cream leather. Brown leather sole. Cream leather lining. For this age: Very good condition. Little sings of use and age. The buckles are not original. Misssing leather on one heel-sole.
