This pair of antique Victorian era leather high button boots from a famous imperial shoemaker, Berlin, date from c. 1900. A highlight from our private shoe-collection! They are made of a light brown (looks like sorrel) tan leather, with 10 dark brown buttons down the sides for closure. They are lined in yellow silk with "WILHELM BREITSPRECHER. Hof-Schuhmachermeister. BERLIN, Neue Wilhelmstraße 13" inside. Very beautiful! The boots measure 7 inches tall, 9,5 inches long and 3 inches wide. They have been never or gently worn and are in very good wearable condition, with only some slight fade discoloration. These are truly a rare and unique pair of German antique shoes!
Hard to find from a German imperial shoemaker!
