Elegant Evening Lace up Boots, from Vienna, ca. 1895

This pair of antique Victorian era leather jet beaded evening lace-up boots date from c. 1895. They are made of two colour of leather, with hand beaded steel and red glass beads done in a creative and beautiful design down the sides for closure. They are lined in violet silk with "CAPEK. WIEN" inside. The boots have black shoe laces, pointed toes and 2” Louis heels. They measure 9 inches tall, 9 1/3 inches long and 2 1/2 inches wide. They have been gently worn (the last few years they have been used as decoration in a magazine in Berlin!), with some scuffs and missing beading. These are rare beaded and beautiful quality made boots! Not easy to find!
