Green sport cap, ca. 1890. English label: P. Weber * Hatter * 49 N. Queen St.* Lancaster, PA. Cord decoration with three metal buttons and two acorns. Shield. Interior lined with glazed cotton. Circumferential leather strap (inside). We suspect it is a lady's riding cap or a boy's sport cap. Maybe the cap even has something to do with sailing. Very well preserved. Discreet signs of age and wear. Decoration is not included.

Lancaster is a port city in the northwest of England in the county of Lancashire and is located on the River Lune.
