Ecru horsehair with unlined tall brim having fancy weave straw border trimmed with chiffon ruffles and polychrome cloth flowers, under-brim having a band of small pink roses, pink satin ties. Worn in The Woman in Fashion, plate XXII and displayed on the Mary Lincoln mannequin in the 1965 Monsanto Disneyland exhibition "Fashion and Fabrics through the Ages". 11 x 12 x 8. Very good. Re-trimmed mid-20th Century. The decoration is not included.
