Strolling umbrella from England, ca. 1850: Plate, i.e. when the umbrella is stretched out, it is very flat. The umbrella leaf is made of purple silk. Decorated with fringes at the edges. Inner cover made of white silk. Wooden handle, umbrella tip made of bone. This is also decorated with fringes. In good condition. There are a few small tears in the purple silk. Rare to find.
