Multi-piece men's riding ensemble, from the 1920s. Origin: France. The inside pocket of the jacket has the manufacturer's label sewn in: Leon Garnaude * 26 rue des Cordeliers * Pau. Pau is a city in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region of France and the largest city in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques department. The ensemble was sold to Mr. Sterling on January 15 (year unfortunately unreadable). The same name is handwritten in the breeches. The ensemble consists of trousers, vest, jacket, shirt, tie and collar. The brown pants have been tailored with leather around the buttocks and inner thighs. West and jacket are made of a gray wool fabric. The shirt is made of cotton. The ensemble is in good to very good condition. Subtle signs of age and wear. Boots, top hat and pin are not included.
