We love these little mannequins! This piece was used in the late 1800's to advertise clothing in a department or general store. The heavy wood boots at its feet do a great job keeping the form standing on its own. The left leg can be pivoted outward in order to stand the figure upright. They are holes in the feet designed for pegs that would fit into a solid base. The covering is a brown jersey fabric. Wood arms covered with brown fabric. The finger have a wood peg extension that fits in to a hollow in the hand. The wood peg extensions are wound in tape in order to fit snugly, but, they can be loosened and removed. Red velvet “décolleté“. Excellent condition.
