We discovered this rare male mannequin from an Austrian private collection on a trip to Berlin. We immediately fell in love and are happy to have them purchased for our old fashion salon.
The removable character-head is made of hand-painted plaster. The wide smile of the man gives a clear view on the radiant teeth, while the typical contemporary hairstyle looks neatly styled. The body is covered with a brown fabric. The wooden arms have movable joints. Shoes and ankles are made of black coloured wood. The mannequin is in for his age very good condition. Normal signs of age and wear (smallest cracks in the fabric). The head has cracks and repairs. The left hand was glued. The wooden shoes have some cracks. But all this is hardly noticeable in the overall impression of this extremely rare mannequin from the 20's. At the abdominal area you can still see the number ...8 (model number or size). The size of the mannequin is about 180 cm. The decoration is not included.
