Very distinctive boudoir robe, ca. 1877. origin: America. Made of a thin cotton fabric, decorated with lace in the front area. Robes of this kind were worn by the lady of the house in the early morning - often casually pulled over the sleeping shirt. She was still in her boudoir - at most accompanied by her chambermaid. Long train with a Watteau pleat. ¾ long sleeves. Closure in the front with small buttons. Very well preserved. Very few light spots. One hole in the hem folded inwards (not visible from the outside). Decoration is not included.
