Victorian era hat box from England. Paper label inside with information about the owner. Initials of the owner outside: “E.L.”. Hinged lid that fastens the box, a lockable clasp and leather straps. The hat-box is intended to secure the safekeeping of finest hats, in the days when people travelled by ship, carriage or train. Very good condition. The key is unfortunately lost. Repaired place on the lid of the hat box. The decoration is not included.
