Very nice and very rare tie stand, ca. 1920, possibly a little older and dating from the imperial period. Made of heavy brass. Round base with a playful - almost art nouveau-style - screw cap. The attention to detail is continued in the upper locking screw. Transverse part aligned for 10-12 ties. Very well preserved. Discreet signs of age.
