A typical flapper dress included either a feather boa or a feather fan. These two fans, each consisting of two large individual feathers, were worn with such dresses in the 1920s. The fans were used less for cooling, and more for playing, coquetting, adorning, and hiding the face. Very well preserved.
On the box that we have added for both fans, there is such a feather. However, the box is too small to store these fans.
