An early 20th century folding fan with carved and pierced guards with matching shaped pierced sticks, bone edged rivet and cream composite loop, the crepe mount hand-painted with a reclining lady and a flying putto. One stick is damaged and has been permanently secured behind the front guard and the fan leaf folded accordingly, the rear crepe has some tears and tatters, the front of the leaf is in good condition with some wear to folds and slightly discoloured.
