Elegant black leather evening shoes, circa 1910. Bronze imprint on the insole: Made Expressly for Hanan and Son, in Pittsburgh. Embroidered toe cap. Shaft worked out as a net, also embroidered with black glass beads. Strap closure with two buttons. Boulevard studs on the outsole at the toe area. Since metal is far more durable than leather, this greatly reduces abrasion at the toe of the shoe. Good to very good condition. Lightly bumped toe tips. Light abrasion to the side. The shoes are sold without shoe trees.
