Mourning hat made of special crinkly "crape anglaise" (mourning crape - spelled with an "a" to indicate mourning crape) material specifically used by widows. Label from Vienna inside: „Marie Gartner * Modes * Wien * XVII. Calvarienberggasse 53“. Original tulle veil. Black wooden applications. Very good condition. Only the tulle on the top of the hat is a little bit damaged. A great addition to your Edwardian collection or mourning collection! Excellent condition, with minimal sings of use and age. Very rare to find. The decoration is not included.
