FITCH Straw Hat, ca. 1912

American marine straw hat, ca. 1912. With broad black velvet wrapped band & shaped brim lining to oversized bow at the back of the hat, cocked brim with floral & foliate embellishment. Label: Fitch * Norwalk, Connecticut. Good to very good condition. The florals are a little bit discolored, wire wearing through under brim, silk lining has holes, velvet worn under brim. The decoration is not included.
