Summer hat from the Edwardian period, ca. 1914, American label: Crocker * 375 Fifth Avenue * New York. The hat is made of silk and decorated with small black flowers and leaves. Grosgrain ribbon in black. The brim of the hat is made of two rows of net tulle. Very distinctive. There are a few holes/tears in the brim of the hat that are barely noticeable when worn or draped. There are tiny holes in the hat brim which indicate that the hat has been fastened with hat pins.
