Antique-Gown

BEST & Co. Peacock Hat, New York, ca. 1913

A wonderful antique original 1913 Edwardian wide brim hat. The hat is covered with blue linen on a straw base. The hat has a fabulous embroidered peacock whose tail wraps around the crown. The cotton embroidery is done in shades of gray, beige and gold. The inside crown is lined with silk. The label reads Best & Co. Paris London and New York City. The hat is in very good condition. The decoration is not included.
