A defense against the cold of winter was the jacket. English tailors fashioned the Spencer jacket - a short close fitting jacket cut from the same style as the dress bodice.
Spencer jacket in brocade, probably worn by a young woman. Origin from Germany. Beautiful (stand-up) collar, long sleeves. Closed in front with original hooks and eyes. The jacket is in very good condition – for his age of 200 years! One little hole. Normal signs of use and age. Very rare to find! The decoration (incl. dress, pearls, bag, brooch and shoes) is not included
