Antique-Gown

Silk Dress, ca. 1800-1805

A pale green/blue changeable silk dress from the early 19th century, ca. 1800-1805. Dress with narrow inner linen breast panels, fall-front bodice attached to the silk skirt, with silk waist ties, long sleeves and trained skirt. There are 2 belt loops at the back for the dark green silk laces (waist ties). Dress is unaltered and overall in very good condition, apart from perspiration stains at underarms. Small spot stain on skirt, small scattered speckle stains on front skirt, a few small bleach marks (minor). Two stains rear left hem and small speckle stains (nothing too obvious). The decoration is not included.
