Very elegant two piece bustle wedding or bridal gown, ca. 1879. The dress is made of creamy shimmering silk satin. Front closure of the bodice with 11 crochet (work) covered buttons. One button has only decorative function. Three-quarter (length) sleeves with two kind of silk folded cuffs. Neckline “framed” with tulle and folded silk. Typical “cul” for the fashion from this time. The lined skirt has a beautiful long train. Folded little overskirt. Excellent condition with a few pinholes (from dancing) and one little hole in the train. The lining from the skirt is a little bit rough. The decoration is not included.
