Splendid dress from the late days of the bustle dresses, ca. 1889. Origin: United States of America. The dress is a three-piece, consisting of top, skirt and bustle-train. The skirt and top are made of aqua-blue silk, the train is made of matching brocade fabric. The top is beautifully decorated with tulle and silver sequins. Half-length sleeves, U-shaped chest cutout. The skirt is placed in the typical folds of the dresses of this time. The dress is in excellent condition. Nevertheless ... nevertheless it has two problem areas: the skirt is open at the back, i.e. not sewn up. This can easily be changed. The bustle-train is also only attached to the dress with two straps. A dressmaker would also have to put on a hand here. We draped the train in this shape. Other shapes are possible. A unique dress. The decoration is not included.
