Antique day dress in sky blue silk, from the early 1860s. Origin: England. The dress is a two-piece, light summer ensemble. Tailored, long bodice decorated with dark green fringes. Front fastening with colour-coordinated buttons. Small collar made of light-coloured tulle (probably added later). The skirt is round, pleated at the back and has a small train. The antique dress is in good condition. The buttons show signs of wear; they are somewhat worn. The buttonholes appear to have been reinforced. Signs of wear and age, especially on the hem of the dress (backwards). The decoration is not included.
