Thomson operated crinoline factories in England and mainland Europe, but their company's reputation was firmly tied to American industry. One of these American companies was owned by W. T. Hopkins.
Very tight hoop stringing; nice clasp. For the age: well preserved. One repaired hoop, one small flaw in the vertical canvas covering.
