American Corset from the Edwardian Era, ca. 1912. A rare piece by Redfern. Fashioned of a white canvas cotton and vertically boned throughout with one of the bones stamped on the interior. Metal grommets on the rear busk with the original lacing intact. A hook and ball closure in the front with garters trimming. The bottom having silver metal that reads security. The top is trimmed in a silk bow that is shattering. Very good condition. Only a minor hint of age colour. One garter needs a stitching. A few stains. Strong and wearable. The decoration is not included.
