Rare maternity corset with front panels that can be let out. It would be possible to let out the middle while keeping the bottom tighter to come up under the belly for support. Most of the seams in this one are corded (threaded with cords). The corset is labelled with: xxxxx. J.C.C. stood for the Jackson Corset Company located in Jackson, Michigan. This information matches the box (see photos), which also reads, "Non-Rustable J.C.C. Corsets Trade Mark, Jackson Corset Co., Makers, Jackson, Michigan * Medium Low, Soft Cording, Adjustable Lace, Maternity 955C * J.C.C. * Jean * 24". Six original garters. Original laces. Small trim along the top edge. The corset is in excellent unworn condition. Only a few minor pin stains (rust?). The original corset box is in good condition with signs of age and storage. The decoration is not included.
