Antique-Gown

Occasionally we have seen such collars in literature, but never dared to believe that we would ever be allowed to hold one in our hands ourselves. However, some wishes do come true. These collars are a breath of tulle, lace, velvet and silk. That they have survived borders on a small miracle.

This necklace is made of gray silk. Gathered tulle at the top. Decorations by lace intarsia. Tapered. Closure by means of hooks. Very well preserved. Still not wearable today as it is much too tight.
