A girl's dress from the time of the first crinolines, i.e. from the 1850s. Cultural area: America. Made of yellow, printed cotton with red dots and floral bands on the cuffs, in the waist area (as an implied belt) and in the hem area. Short sleeves. Back closure with hooks and eyelets. The dress is well preserved, but has some (few) stains and faded areas. The dress comes from "The Museum at FIT - Fashion Institute of Technology" (New York). The decoration is not included.
