PIERRE IMANS Little Girl, Paris, ca. 1920
What a cute little girl! She will probably be about three years old. She comes from the famous studio of Pierre Imans, Paris. A doll that could be seen and admired in a Parisian shop window over 100 years ago. Torso made of wax, arms, hands and feet made of mass/plaster/gibs. Original shoes and stockings. Little dress and undergarment were added later, as was the wax wreath. All three parts are period and original. Real hair, glass eyes. Original painting. Original metal plate. Very well preserved. The chest was broken and has been professionally glued. However, under the dress this is not noticeable.
