Victorianisches Draht-Bustle oder Tournüre, ca. 1880
This is a good example the braided wire bustles that were marketed for being light and cool and therefore "hygienic" as they allowed the skin to breathe and weighed less. Constructed in steel wire, staples and a twill tape waistband with an adjustable pronged buckle. Good condition. There are a few broken wires, the twill tape is dirty and ragged and re-sewn at one side. The decoration is not included.
