Small candy bag, ca. 1908. Made and filled by Café Gerstner, the famous imperial and royal court confectioner from Vienna. The front features the likenesses of the couple. Small bow with a wax flower. Closure for pulling and tying. Such bags were given to the wedding guests as a "thank you" gift from the bride and groom. They were a small souvenir of the lavish celebration of the wedding. Very well preserved. Two small beads that were attached as feet are missing. Very, very rare to find.
