Elegant two-piece dress from the end of the 19th Century. The bodice features a very elaborately collar and for this time very fashionable Gigot-sleeves. The elegance of this ensemble is highlighted by stitched applications on the collar and on the whole bodice. Three ornamental steel pearl buttons decorate the dress. Smallest band applications over the entire fabric of the bodice and the skirt. A very elaborate and costly processing! Four decorative pleats on the front part of the skirt are a nicely contrast. The skirt ends in a little train. The dress is in a generally good condition; in some places dissolve or missing band applications (see photos). For this reason we have classified the dress in the department “graveyard”. Thus, it is for lovers of antique textiles that want to purchase a low quality antique dress, very attractive. The blouse and the overall decoration are not included in the price.
