Antique summer dress made of thin cotton, ca. 1913, origin: America. Made in the style of a lingerie dress. These dresses get their name from the material used. They are called ‘lingerie dresses’ or ‘lingerie dresses’ because the materials used (cotton and light lace) and decoration techniques (lace, embroidery, piping) were originally used for petticoats, chemises and other forms of lingerie. These dresses were mainly worn by younger women.
White embroidery and openwork/lace adorn this distinctive dress. Lace in the collar area. Back fastening with small buttons. In very good condition. One small imperfection. The jewellery is not included.
