Very elaborately tailored social dress, approx. 1915. We found it in the Frankfurt am Main area, so that we assume that it is a rare dress from Germany that "survived" the two world wars. Design and presentation suggest a mourning or widow's dress. Silk, tulle and lace have been successfully combined. Partially asymmetrical construction. Well preserved. The overdress, made of tulle, shows some missing parts. A small part in the hem area with a light spot. However, this can be easily removed (we noticed this too late). The decoration is not included.
