Rhinestone shoes were invented to match the dazzling evening dresses of the jazz era. They wonderfully complemented the elegant fashion of the flapper era. These shoes come from the manufactory of C.H. Wolfelt, Los Angeles. They also feature "The Bootery" in gold embossed letters. These black dance shoes are covered all over with rhinestones set in cramps. Strap closure. In very good condition, although the rhinestones have lost a bit of their luminosity. The leather insole would need to be re-glued. The shoes are sold without shoe trees. Provenance: From The Collection of Doris Raymond.
