"Hair" Cloche made of silk threads, 1920s
Evening caps of this type can be seen today almost only in museums. This one we found by chance in Paris. In the 1920s, they were very fashionable and in demand for a short time: when ladies went out in the evening, they put on such an evening cap or cloche over their hair, in the form of a wig. This hair cloche from the 20s used thin, white shimmering silk threads to form hair strands. Very rare, very elegant, good to very good condition. The decoration is not included.
