Cloche Hat in Pink and Salmon, ca. 1924
Beautiful hat from the middle of the 1920s. Label: “Tenne Hats * Importer * Paris New York”. Tiny flowers of velvet discs, plus green stems and buds. The detail is wonderful. This cloche has a narrow brim with wide pink binding and a turn up back. The wide band is with stain and grosgrain ribbon with a stain turn up at the back. The crown is tucked down at center back as well. The original lining is in place, although it has losses. And the front is thoughtfully indicated on the lining. The exterior of the hat is excellent. The silk lining has shattering. The decoration is not included
