One-piece tea dress, ca. 1926. Dresses of this kind were often worn in the afternoon, at garden parties, at smaller house receptions or - as the name suggests - at tea soirees. From the 1920s, such tea dresses have rarely been preserved.
This antique dress is made of white cotton. Beautiful inlays of net lace. Very nice white embroideries. U-shaped neckline. Low-hanging waist, typical for dresses from that time. Integrated petticoat. The dress is well to very well preserved. An intarsia of lace in the waist area has probably been replaced, others show smaller repair spots which are hardly noticeable. The decoration is not included.
