Wine red wool coat, ca. 1908. Provenance: from the collection of A.T. Jones & Sons, America. The coat was worn in the winter. Profusely decorated with soutache cord appliques as well as a flat border. Double collar. V-neck at the front. Inside lined with twill silk. Front closure with hooks and eyes. Very well preserved. The inner silk (especially in the sleeves) is a bit fragile; it is partially patched; small holes. A couple of the soutache appliqués are loose and need to be re-sewn. The decoration is not included.
