Few women in the early 20th century could afford wedding dress from a prestigious fashion salon. The woman who wore this dress probably couldn't either. It is a very authentic dress, probably made by a domestic dressmaker. The fabric is a woolen fabric, which is heavy. It was probably married in late fall or winter. The top has the typical hanging bust of the dresses of that time. Tight sleeves, some of which are pleated and cascading. High stand-up collar. The skirt ends in a train. Top and skirt are decorated with white lace. Good to very good condition. A few minor moth holes in the skirt. A few litle stains. The decoration is not included.
