Elegant and beautiful ball or evening gown from the Titanic Era, ca. 1912. Made of silk chiffon and turquoise fabric with silver and gold threads embroidered in flowers motive. Waistband label: „Rybicka-Meyer * Strassburg“. Strasbourg was since 1871 part of the German Reich and the capital from Alsace-Lorraine. The one pice dress is rich embroidered with little glass beads in the chest area, on the hemline of the skirt and on the ¾ long sleeves. Long train. Two big buttons on the backside. Creme silk underskirt. Very good condition for the sensible material. One stain in the chest area. Little cracks in the chiffon. Underarm stains. Some seams are opening. This seams require a reading of this dress. We “read” this dress in this way. Other way are possible. The decoration is not included.
