Linen walking dress, ca. 1909, thick and therefore heavy fabric, probably intended for wearing in fall or winter. The dress is a two-piece consisting of a skirt and jacket. The skirt and jacket are decorated with (faded) lavender-colored borders (hem of the skirt, hem of the jacket, cuffs, collar), onto which trimmings are sewn in a wavy pattern. The jacket and skirt are fastened with hooks and eyelets. Decorative buttons complete the distinctive look. In good condition. Signs of wear due to age and use, such as thread tears and stains on the fabric and buttons. Minor areas of repair. The decoration is not included.
