Four-piece walking or street costume, ca. 1904, provenance: Valentine Museum, America. The ensemble consists of a bolero and a linen skirt, a blouse and an unusual belt. The skirt is plain; it is pleated at the hem. The bolero is decorated with beautiful openwork. The mesh tulle blouse is decorated with small bows in the bust area. The same silk is used on the long sleeves. The belt with a yellow metal buckle is decorated with glass stones. The ensemble is in very good condition and can still be worn today.
