Spectacular one-piece evening or ball gown, ca. 1904. Label inside: Mme. BUGBEE, New York. The gown is a black silk taffeta lining with overlay of black netting, and that netting is teeming with thousands of purple sequins and spangles all over the dress. High neck, 1/2 length sleeves, blue velvet hemline, pigeon front bust, one-piece dress, hooks/eyes at back, original petersham, black velvet belt. Good condition – but only for display. Much of the sequins and spangles are still there, but the black netting has a few holes and is very sensible. A few sequins are missing. You don’t barely notice. On the dress are so much sequins… The decoration is not included.
