Antique-Gown

A 1906 deep blue colored 2 piece tailored suit for daytime travelling or visiting. Long loose jacket embellish with fancy fabric colored button rosettes, intricate passementerie trim, extending down front jacket opening, on sleeves and back. Large puffed sleeves with cutout V shaped cuffs. The bodice is lined with a tan cotton and pink colored satin lining and has a front hook and eye closure. The matching full skirt has vertical passementerie trim and button rosettes. The skirt is unlined. The 2 piece suit is in very good wearable condition. Jacket has small discoloration stains on one button and with few small stains scattered about. Small area of seam opening by upper shoulder, and easy fix. Discoloration on velvet is camera flash. There are no repairs. The skirt exterior is in very good condition, No repairs no holes, has small area of color staining fading in front. The decoration is not included.
