A well-made combination: Battenburg lace, nett lace and mesh cartouches with applique blossoms inset into Battenburg lace. That’s is this beautiful 2-piece reception gown from around 1901. Bodice with long sleeves and a silk satin belt with a rhine-stone belt buckle (on the backside). Skirt with train and a silk satin hem. Cream silk underskirt. A very expensive handwork. Very good condition with a few flaws: the lining has some cracks. One stain in the chest area. Missing tulle on the collar. The decoration is not included.
